Can anyone play bowls?

Bowls’ key slogan is one sport for life - it allows anyone to play regardless of your age or skills. We have several blind bowlers at our club and members from young to old.

Do I need to be a member to play?

We’d love to get to know you so don’t feel obliged to join before coming for a game or practise session. Our members are friendly and will gladly include you in a game - we play on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as Saturdays.

I don’t have my own set … now what?

As the home of Newbie Bowls, we have many sets of bowls. So don’t worry - you can even start playing bare foot if you arrive in shoes not suited to a game of bowls.

Can I hire the club for a party or event?

Absolutely! We play host to many corporate functions, birthday parties etc throughout the year. Get in contact with us and if the clubhouse is available, we’d gladly assist in making your event one to remember. Please note we are cashless facility.

When should I come try out the game?

Our club is open to members and future members from roughly 3pm to late on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Saturdays, we are open earlier for our version of “tabs in”. Give us a call and we’ll make sure someone is here to greet you.
