MEMBERSHIP

We welcome bowling and social members, irrespective of your level of experience, or complete absence thereof.

LEARN TO BOWL

If you want to try the sport of lawn bowls join us for some coaching. We will loan you some bowls and all you need are flat shoes.

HISTORY

Mowbray Bowling Club was formed in 1919 and has a strong and proud tradition of highly competitive bowls.

At Mowbray we pride ourselves on our camaraderie and friendship, with a focus on loving life.

To find out more or join our family just contact the club or pop in to meet us. The best time is normally a Tuesday or Thursday from 3:00pm to late.

Membership Options

We have a variety of membership options to suit anyone and everyone. We welcome experienced bowlers, complete newcomers to the sport and social members who have no interest in bowling. Come down to the club, make some friends and join our family.

JOIN NOW

FULL MEMBERSHIP

This includes affiliation to WP Bowls and Bowls South Africa and entitles you to participate in any Club, Western Province and National competitions.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

We have special, discounted rates for full-time scholars and students. You can select to join as either a Full Member or Social Member at student rates.

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP

Social members can take advantage of the amazing bar prices and socialise with an awesome group of people. You can also have some lessons and learn more about the sport of bowls.

DUAL MEMBERSHIP

If you are already a member at another club you can join Mowbray as a dual member. This will allow you to represent Mowbray in different Club, WP and National events.
