MBC players in the mix

The upcoming WP Bowls Invitational Masters Singles has a number of Mowbray members called to participate.

The event “is a recognition of the quality and consistency that you are demonstrating in your play” is the second tier to the WP Masters Singles tournament and a good platform to gain even more recognition in the district.

Mowbray is no stranger to success in this event with recent winners including Gareth Rosslee and Dave van der Walt. Elma Louw was a dual member when she lifted the trophy and then went on to claim the Masters Singles in her next try.

The WP Invitational Masters will take place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May 2022 and the venue or
venues will be confirmed as soon as arrangements are finalised.

Ladies’ Invitational – Claire Cowan, Susan Weber, Olivia Carulei and Tilly Fernandes-Du Rand

Players are reminded of the changed format for 2022 – on Saturday you will play three games in a round robin in
your section of four players. The top 2 from each section will go through to the quarter-finals on Sunday, which will be followed by the semi-finals and finals.
